That's right boys and girls.
I've been working 60+ hours a week lately, and had a very reputable shop in Gainesville do some work for me on my hatch since I've been dead tired.

Well last night, they parked my hatch in their fenced/ barbed wired back lot and locked it in.

This morning, they came out to find someone had cut the barbed wire and come over the fence..... they stole my gunmetal itr rims (yes I have a 5-lug conversion on my hatch)... they also stole the black nsx lug nuts that were holding them on.

Anyway, they filled out a police report and took fingerprints so hopefully they'll catch the bitches. Hell, they're probably reading this board: YOU ******* COWARDS!

Here's the best part: two of the rims were curbed - one of them REALLY bad. It's so easy to recognize, it's not even funny. I couldn't have sold them for much anyway! LOL

Also, the guy at the shop was there till like 8pm so he figures it was someone who was casing the shop.....

Everyone please keep your eyes open for some gunmetal itr rims and black oem nsx lug nuts..... I'm sure they'll show up on someone's car or ebay or something.....

 

That certainly does suck! The only way to keep your car safe is not let a shop keep a car overnight. Pretty sad

That sucks, but on the bright side, you'll get some new rims and tires out of it... (I assume you have insurance or the shop will take care of it).

But I know how you feel. Sorry about that.

If insurance takes care of it, you'll be able to buy ITR wheels with some money left over.

 

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, 'specially since you don't seem to have much luck lately.

Anyone else happen to notice the particularly alarming trend of things happening to cars left at shops and dealerships ?

Did you still have the odd ball tires on them from when I looked at the wheels. If so you might want to mention the brand because it was not something you would see everyday on Type-R wheels and should stand out for sure. I could not remember off the top of my head.

Someone has to have been watching and planning for this. Place is in the middle of no where that is for sure.
