Default B16 Dyno

Here's the setup:
SRP Pistons 10.5:1
SI SS valves (0.5mm oversize)
bowl blended
Mugen Head Gasket
Mugen Valve Springs
Skunk II retainers
CTR cams
ITR intake manifold
JDM ITR Header
JDM ITR cat
Greddy SP catback
Hondata S100

What do you guys think? It was dynoed in a pretty hot day and it can't go any higher than this.

isnt it pointless to rev past 8500 cause the CTR cams arent gonna pull hard to 9K??

yes it is... but the dip in power past 8500 is not that drastic so sometimes i shift at 9000. most of the time i shift at 8500

it is up.
Good numbers. However I think you would make more power with regular sized valves seeing that you have very MILD mods. Most builders who do the B20 and LSvtec who are making 200+ whp don't even get OS valves because they have proven to hurt more then help your performance. The only stree driven cars that I'v heard of with .5 OS exhust valves are turbo charged B series. I think you would make a little more tq in the lower end. But thats just IMHO.

Very nice and smooth powerband.
So how long did it take to tune your hondata?

the reason for the os valves was because this was supposed to be a turbo motor but i changed my mind to na...

the hondata didn't take that long to tune... it took around 6 dyno runs for the full throttle and 2 weeks of driving for partial...

Not being a dick, but for the mods you should be able to tune a little more out of it. You might want to try messing with it/Hondata a little more. I've seen cars with simular mods and chipped ECU make more power. Once again not being a dick, just want to see you get more out of a good setup. Later Allen

he has about 191 crank hp. just wanted to add that you should just bolt up a turbo to the sum bitch...163whp is nothing....i'm sure adding a turbo or any other FI to your motor will make the hp soar to 300whp or something close.
