Default Mounting Slipstreams onto Teg

i just got some slipstreams last night off a fellow H-T member (bluesaint) and just wanted to double check that it's ok to mount directly on..they're 15 x 6.5 with a 38 mm offset..i'm taking off 17" Racing Hart Z5000's...can i simply take them off and put on the slips or do i need to have a tire shop mount them/balance for me? thanks!

it would'nt hurt to get them balanced since there off, its pretty cheap too. As for mounting, you should be able to do that yourself, as long as you have a floor jack and a lugnut tool

yeah i can mount them myself..but my main concern was the balancing...do i need to have them ON the car before i could have them balanced? or can i simply throw them into the trunk and take it down to america's tires co. or something..

thanks for the tip eg6ken

do you see weights on the new wheels? if you do, good chance it's balanced. But if you can, check if they are.

no, wheel/tire combos are balanced off the car.

You should be fine unless the guy before you was a cheap bastard
