Top of wastegate hitting Ac line..

I have a tial wastegate 35mm and the top of it is hitting one of mu Ac line.. does the top get hot enough to melt my ac lines?
I dont see how it can because its where the spring sits so does it get that hot ??
Please let me know.
If not u know where i can get the little elbow to turn my wastegate at , so i can put the wastegate on sideways???

you should be able to pull the a/c line back a little away frm the wastegate.
You may have to bend it, just don't kink it and you'll be fine.
Secure it with some zippe ties etc.

I just bought a rev hard elbow and it is anlged where you will still be hitting something.. thats what happen to mine. I believe with my tial on I'll be touching the mounts next to the ac.

the constant shifting of the motor back and forth and the wastegate pulling and pushing on the ac line can loosen the crimps on the A/C hose and cause it to leak over time. After it did to mine i took the hose off and had a local a/c shop fabricate a longer custom hose using the parts from the exisiting hose for like $50. worked out good
