That sucks, I've always freak out when I see tires on the road, never imagined this much damage was possible.
What wheel is that, hard to tell from behind.

Sorry to hear that. It could've been worse. The tire could've hit your windshield and caused you to veer off the road. At least you didn't get hurt. Good luck on the repairs..

Well, it sucks, but seriously, what can he do? There's no sense in being miserable over it. Good luck with getting everything fixed.

If the tire was just a tire in the road that the truck ran over the truck is not at fault. If the tire came off of the truck you can contact the trucking company.

I feel your pain. I ran out a chunk of semi trunk about two weeks ago. It tore out the fender liner, bent the right front fender, tore part of the chin spoiler and put a dent in the right quarter panel. Almost $3000 dollars by the time it comes out of the shop. I should get it back today. Try to have your insurance cover it, and good luck with the repairs. Also, if you do file a claim, our Province might classify it as a one car accident...like retarded California does.

That's best case. A tire through the windshield would be just as likely to make you a foot shorter.
