what do cam shafts do??
and would cam shafts from a type S work with my Si?

the job of the camshafts is to actuate the intake and exhaust valves.

no, your a3 has different cams than the a2. i believe the intake cam may work but your problem is going to be the exhaust.

You'll have to replace the A3 head with the A2 head in order to get both the exhaust and intake cams to fit.
