Default alarm question...

wassup guys

today i was leaving my friends house and i press the button to un-arm my alarm and nothing. So i open the door and it didn't go off. I get home and i close my door, arm my car ( cause i hear the door lock close ) and then open my door, doesn't go off again.

at this point i'm just scratchin my head and i hold the panic button, my alarm goes off. but if i try arming my car it won't.

what can be the problem? did i blow a fuse or what.

please help me out

From the sounds of it, u have a viper 300 or a ghetto viper 300 unit, witch is a base unit, kill switch, door lock and unlock. A very ghetto unit, i have been jacked with a crimestoper unit and a viper 300 unit, till i took the time and upgrade to hardcore Cliffort Alarm, with my fav opition blackjack, They have a good time trying to make the alarm shut up, when they cut the power it's still going off, backup self power speaker.

Also the thing about alarms is, they don't do ****, if someone wants to take your car they will, the point of keeping your car safe is layers.
Autolocker
The Club Twin Hook
Lowjack
GPS Tracker
Full Cut off Switch
Muti Kill switchs
Hidden Door Locks
Hidden Valet Switchs
Tilt Sensor
Glass Sensor
The longer it takes for a thive to try to jack you, the less likly he or she will go thro all the **** to try, also not bumping or driving fast around bad areas and parking your car inside and out of the ghetto.
