engine stumbles/stutters on acceleration from 2200-3500 rpm, but builds boost fine
long story short, my dist got fried mid-race on the highway because one of my plugwires was unplugged, ever since my distributor went bad a month ago, ive been using a friends dist. my engine seems to stumble while accelerating around 2200-3500 rpm. it feels like a fuel cut or its just getting bogged down. if i accel slow enough on the highway and reach 3000 rpm then it wont really hesitate or bog but i will slowly reach the speed limit. ive been using a friends dist. till my new dist came in the mail, and it happens with his dist too. so i got my new dist in and it does the same stumbling??? so this whole time i thought it was my dist but it seems that it has to do w/ timing or a faulty ecu?? has anyone encountered this prob.

Any check engine lights? How is the idle? How does the car run in high end?
I'd check the plugs and wires.
Also check the MAP and TPS sensors to make sure they are functioning correctly. A bad sensor could delay the ecus reaction.

ill check the gaps today, my idle fluctuates from 500-750 randomly when it reaches 500 it feels like it wants to die, and ive never revved it past 3500 while this prob is happening.
hmmm sounds like the same problem i have.... i would also llike to know more...
