Can't go wrong with ARP

 

Im digging ARP too, They've been in this type of business for quite some time.

 

We've had nothing but bad luck w/ the skunk2 studs. Their own lugnuts do not even thread onto them. We called and called and called and they would not replace them either.

Definately a to ARP.

 

I didn't know ARP had a stud kit for imports.

 

where's the cheapest place to get these from? also need some lugnuts to go with them.

Driveshaft shop has the ARP part number listed on their website. I am guessing you can get them from summit. As far as lugnuts go, I would recommend the skunk2s. They thread onto every wheelstud other than their own just fine. They are very very light.

 

ARPs is the way to go considering the choices. I used the Corvette extended lugstuds and "force" pressed them into my oem hubs. Works good.

I believe I have seen a set of Honda/Acura specific lugstuds from ARP recently, or at least they are soon to introduce them.

**below, possibly so. I guess I never saw that those were available, I wish I would have though. Using the Corvette/Camero studs enlarges the stud holes in the oen hub. So going back to stock Honda sized studs would not be possible with out getting new hubs.**

FYI I believe its a domestic Camaro replacement stud that will fit our cars as well. Screw paying that much for ARP's or skunks when these studs are like a $1 each.

Heck.....ARP was making studs and bolts for Honda's ChampCar engine years ago!

i havent had any problems with the skunk2 studs and lugs.....



Kinda tight when putting them on but they werk.

i had two sets of Skunks for my front wheels and 5/8 studs stripped from the hub and spun loosely with the lug still attached. and what integra_gsr98 is correct, their own lugs won't fit on their own studs

I have never had any problems at all with the arp's. But everyone I know has always had problems with the skunk2's

 

yeah arp is the bomb i wouldn't go with skunk 2 however don't hate on them so much cause their other products are two thumbs up

 

i have the skunk2 studs. after a few of them started spinning in the hub i got sick of it and welded all of them in.
