You beat me when I was NA. I ran at Alamo Dragway a long time ago. Way before RCR came around. I ran a 14.9 @ 93.

that's not that much. You should dyno that thing and see what kind of numbers you are putting out. Those are nice trap speeds for those mods

You have a mutant motor. You should get it dynoed because those traps speeds are good!!

I agree, you should dyno that because those times are almost unbelieveable from a b18c1 with just an intake...

Later,

alright...now that i have some time...

my setup:
AEM CAI
Comptech Springs
Removed p/s belt
SLIGHTLY advanced timing (still need to get my hands on a light)
Removed:
Back seats/spare/trunk board/mat/passenger seat= ~100 lbs
and the Nitto Drag radials...205/55-14 @ ~40 psi

launch? probably around 6k...technique? i couldn't really tell you or explain to you how i did it...and i shift normal...just as fast as possible...

the run with the stock Michelins:
60 ft: 2.33
1/4 mi: 15.06
speed: 93.75

like i said...its hot...probably about 90 degrees...I've decided to hold off on the N2O for a while and see what this motor can do...next step: dc jdm 4-1, free flow cat, type r catback...and wait for winter to roll around...when its 40 degrees...this thing is gonna fly

thanks for all the positive feedback...

dyno? first, i'm not even sure who has a dyno here...and second that costs money, and since i really don't need any tuning, I'll probably just save my money for useful mods. buuuut, if i run into one and its not too much I might see what it puts out

If you can wait untill Jan, Im planning on moving to SA to open up a dyno. I know that Texas Jam (the hot rod store) and another place has a dyno but I've been there and they are not fond of Imports.
With the additon of RiverCity Race way I think a good dyno would be a good additon. BTW, I'll be in SA Monday and tuesday looking for a place with some investors looking to help out with the funds.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that is a "mutant motor"there is a guy that posts here now with name the Ermax. He is a close friend of mine.with a 95 Gs-r he ran a 14.2@97 on Potenza 730's.With exactly what follows,ITR pistons,ITR exhaust,Timing at 18 and a homemade cai.He also removed the rear interior, spare and jack and front pass seat. That is it.with a good driver anyone with a gs-r can do this. The same night another friend went 14.3@??with a 95 gs-r on street tires with just timing, intake and a crappy DC header. He had the same weight removal as the other teg.Good time.Esspecially for what mods you have. That 60ft is badass.
