Dual exhaust bumper into a single exhaust bumper (fiberglass)?
Okay guys, when I bought my civic it already had a kit on it and the rear bumper is made for dual exhaust. I'm definetly staying with the single exhaust but I want to fix this. I will be repainting, sanding the kit in a few weeks. There is a fiberglass repair kit at autozone that has a sheet of fiberglass that I can just cover that extra exhaust outlet up and sand it up nice and smooth.
I'm not too sure what it will look like though. It kind of looks cheezy right now but will it look okay if I cover that up with the repair kit? I do not want to spend any money on buying another bumper (would rather spend $ on engine work) so I need suggestions. Please stay on topic, I don't need any other suggestions about my car right now other then what was asked

if you do repair your hole on that thing, the slightest rock that touches it will shatter the bajesus out of it.
Just find a stock bumper for <$100 bucks

Do you guys think that a stock bumper would look alright with the buddy club side skirts and front bumper? And I'm not spending the money to take it all off and go back to stock.

Yeah, that might be your best bet.
IMO, I would start checking out some local junk yards. You might be able to find your stock replacements. Just an idea. But it's your car, not mine, or anyone else's on HT.

its a very good idea, however make sure you have a VERY sharp blade that will cut through the fiber glass without getting caught and jsut shattering quite a bit of it.
air compressor and cutting tools would cut through that like butter.
actually, f^%* the stock bumper idea, cut out that middle section, i think that would look very nice.

Okay guys, thanks for all the ideas. Still not sure what I'm gonna do next. I'll have to sleep on it. Cutting out the middle part sounds like a pretty good idea, but I'll see.
