DOHC
I'm pretty sure no 4g Accords came in DOHC...if they did, they're in another country and invisible.
The F22a6 was in the (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm a 5g Accord guy) the 90-93 EX and LX-i's.

f22a6 (140hp) came in all the ex's i believe in 92-93 and all se's. the lx's had the f22a1(125hp). they also had a f22a4(130) in 90-91 .
oh btw. i think their was one guy with a f22ax that did a f22b sohc vtec head. do a search!!!

You can swap the f22b (sohc vtec) - 145hp, head onto an f22a6/1/4 block, or an f22a6/1/4 on any of those 3. The head from an f22a6 will yield minor differences (camshaft mostly), and if you swap, make sure you also swap to the dual stage manifold it has (most of the power diff. is there).
There aren't any DOHC heads that I am aware of that would swap over, no need too either.

I'm sure he's talking about the F20B. Not the S2000's F20C

meige: And let me guess, you did all this on your Honda Acura? (see: "1990 accord not holding boost" below this one.)
If any DOHC head (VTEC or non-VTEC) would fit on any F22 block, everyone would be all over that...

Is it possibly only in the states where EX's have the a6 because I am in Canada and have a 1993 EX with a F22a1</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yes, pretty much. The cams may be slightly different, but it's probably not worth it.
The American EX is our Canadian EX-R. The badging levels are just different, that's it. So just to be clear, the Canadian EX-R has the F22A6, the EX and LX have the A1.
American DX - American LX - American EX
Canadian LX - Canadian EX - Canadian EX-R
