hey guys, I just put in an injen cai in my 4 dr civic and i was thinking of switching my bumper so there would be more air getting to the intake, bec' it doesnt look like much can get through the oem bumper on a 4dr, but yeah would a 2dr bumper fit on my 4dr? its a 94 civic. and if so, where could i get a hold of one?

 

No, It wont fit with out some mod's to it ... I dont know exactley whats involved in doing it but I have seen some people on here with it done ...

thats my car....what i did was cut the 4dr fender in half.....and weld on the 2dr fender then it fits perfect!!! u can put it on with no mod but it sit crooked.

yeah i got a fast 4 door and it goes good, but its all beat up and needs alot of new body parts so i was thinking of doing something like that when funds are up.

 

the 2dr bumper will fit on the 4dr pretty decently with 2dr corner lights. if you enlarge the mounting holes on the bumper, you can get it to line up decently

 

i saw that car at a honda-tech meet, looks really good.

Not trying to hi-jack your thread but has anyone ever put a 4 door bumper on a hatch? There is something bout the 4 door bumper that I like.

the sedan bumper could fit on a hatch, but also with modifications because the sedan bumpers seems a litlle bit wide for the hatch. never seen one tho.

The 4dr bumper has way more open space on it in my opinion. I had a 2dr bumper on mine for a few days but it looked like *** and iw asnt goin through all that crap with the fenders.

The only reason i wanted a 2dr bumper was so i could find a lip.
