Switch ECU's? Potential benifits
My friend (happens to own a succesful import shop) told me that I could take out my p13 ecu(for my 94 jdm h22a) and replace it w/ a p72 (GSR ECU). What I'm trying to do is see what the potential benifits are going to be besides the following: the p72 ECU doesn't have an EGR valve b/c the gsr doesn't have one. The h22a doesn't, however, so I could then take my egr stuff off and and not have to worry about that code. Also there is the higher redline too. I'm not sure what it is exactly on the gsr(9000rpm I think), but on the prelude I know it's a fuel cut-off of 8200rpm. And finally the speed govener gsr(not sure), prelude (118mph). Oh and I forgot the price difference. Thanks for your help.
