Does anyone has installed the JDM 3rd brake light in the car before? I just got this from the ebay, and I have tried to installed it today. Does anyone know when I stepped on the brake pedal, does the "INTEGRA" word supposed to be lighted up or not? I have tried, but only the bulb behind light up. The black plastic totally cover up the light from the bulb, therefore no light can be seen from the outside. I was wondering if I was cheated by the seller, since he told me the "INTEGRA" word will light up.

The "INTEGRA" word is kinda bright in the pic, since it's reflecting the flash light from the camera.

Did you buy it b/c of the "integra" sign? Did you have a 3rd brake light already?

the "integra" on the brake light is just a sticker. , its not gonna light up.. it'll "light up" around the sticker

a jdm 3rd brake light is just like any other brake light... how much did you pay for it?

I have been to Toyko and Hong Kong couple times before, and I have seen 20+ DC2 and EG9 which has the 3rd brake light with "INTEGRA" and "CIVIC" word on it. I am not sure if that's the optional accessories or not. If you don't think this is from Japanse Domestic Market, let me take that back.

I bought it coz I like the design, but not because it's JDM.

I am here to ask for help and advise, and I am not trying to show off the JDM ****. If you don't know **** and think I am stupid, you can just ignore my thread and no need to respond to it. I don't think your respond is funny at all. You are here only to insult me.

 

My SiVTEC(GSR), my friend's SiVTEC, and all of my Japanese friends ITR's say "Integra" in the 3rd brake light.

 

is the light supposed to come from "integra" or around it?

btw... that's the first time i've ever heard of that brake light stock on any integra period...

 

It's a stock item on JDM Teg's. I got one for Ben Tang when he was a Honda goober like us.

 

I believe the "INTEGRA" 3rd brake light is an option from the dealer.
I think the ones for Civics has the word "FIERO" on it.

If you bought the real thing, the word INTEGRA should light up when you step on the brakes (just like the regular 3rd brake light)...
