Marcos - How have you been?

 

I've been down and out and up again ready to face the world...
thinks that have happened to me this year......

-Jan. get screwed by some guy in Cali about a carbon fiber hood.
-spring: left old job
-two months of scrapping by
-summer: get new better paying job..... fu-bot, "woooo whoooo!!"
-summer: try to find mugen stuff for del sol, but they don't make the axle back system for her any more....... fu-bot, "big downer..... (rolles eyes)"
-Summer: get mugen header for del sol from King.
-Summer: get del sol banged up.......fu-bot,"at least he didn't install the header yet!!"
-Summer: del sol still gettting fixed... while my R is turning into a daily driver
-Summer: Aug. Houston meet Sat. 25th fu-bot,"hint hint"!!

-now... just working and trying to catch up on the bills

I'm from Houston, but I don't own a Type R (red GS-R). I'd be interested in meeting up with some people here (Aug. 25th). I'll also be at the John Eagle event at Texas World Speedway on Sept. 22-23. Keep us posted on the Houston meet. Later.

i will be moving to UT austin too this fall, i'm bringing my car tho, i have the castillian's gated parking garage with 24 hour security

 

It will be good to have another R in town..

 

Mean as ever... creaping 250lbs now... thinking I may have to abort my NA project and go Turbo just to haul my big *** around...

 

that's what imma do... in about 8 months i'm gona drop a t-61 in mine, but being in austin, i won't be driving it much when i can walk everywhere... i know a guy who does a good job, a friend of mine who lives in irving (TypeRollin) is having a t-59 put in right now.. the guy's in houston, so if that wasn't sarcasm i can get u a number

 

thanks gan ni nia, but (pardon me guys) I usually build bigger cars... the Hondas are new to me, but a hell of a lotta fun, and really easy to work with... If I could ever figure out the damn mechanical fuel enrichment on the wife's SC GSR that is... I think I haven't gone programible just to prove to myself I can make it work just like I want it to... that is, OE like. The guy I work with on the "bigger" cars with went for a ride in the GSR the other day, and was really impressed with how well it ran... ie smoothness/power delivery. I'm the freaking perfectionist though... meaning I didn't think it was good enough... he said he was "very impressed for a modified car"...

Are you going to come down to Houston for the meet? If you are, would it be possible to fit the extra set of CW rims in your car? Hmmm........on second thought, I might be up there this Sunday to pick up the rims. I'm in California at the moment, so I will give you a call sometime later this week.
