Ok, quick over view. A 90 hatch std, used for daily driving and week end autox/ road race. A mini me swap consisting of a SI 5spd tranny, SI ECU, SI distributor, wire harness plugs,injector box, FPR . Also a D16Y8 intake manifold set up w/ (88-91) SI injectors and fuel rail, port matched and mated to a GSR TB. Head is from a D16Y7. The head w/ a d16 z6/y8 head gasket raises the compression to a 10:1.
I'm sending the Y7 cam off to Crower for a cam grind.
I've been given 2 sugestions so far :-
1. 265 duration w/ 10.44 mm lift
2. 268 duration w/ 10.5 mm lift
I'm looking for an other suggestions for the cam specs or your opinion of the ones mentioned.

well its not really a "mini-me" since u aren't going to be running a vtec head. goto http://www.d-series.org and do a search for delta cams there was alot of posts and info on cams for the y7. i don't know if a guy named hurrikain still posts there but if he does get in touch with him he prototyped the cam grinds for delta and is very knowledgeable. also maybe talk to exospeed marc on this board he knows the d-series and was working on a cam for the y7. builthatch who posts on this board built a y7 prior to his y8 setup he can prolly help u out as well. man i really like the sound of your setup, i think its gonna be pretty mean in such a light package 2
