How to paint exhaust canister/muffler?
I want to paint the canister of my N1 exhaust flat black but leave the tip polished. What would be the best way to go about painting the metal? Procedure? Type of primer/paint? etc...

be sure to use high temp paint, so when the muffler get hot its wont bake off your paint,. And pick up some lite sandpaper to the can so that the primer will have something to stick too.

Use the High heat BBQ paint stuff...Works good! And make sure to use a good degreaser of some sort to clean it before hand!
