Help me pick a suspension pls
I've been researching suspensions for a while and have found it difficult to determine what would be a good setup and would like your input. I have a 93 DX daily driver. I have ST sway bars 19mm f/r with upper front strut tower bar. I am looking for a slight to moderate increase in handling and cornering, but want to avoid a harsh ride, and would prefer at most a 1.5 inch drop. Are there any setups you could recommend that fit this criteria? TIA

Those all sound like reasonable suggestions. What do you all think of combining H&R springs with KYB AGX. Would that accomplish the same goals but for less money?

good point - how do i figure out which spring rate to get - is there some formula based on the weight of the car that tells you or is there some other way?

This is one of the best shock/spring combo's IMO. You'll get a 1.5 drop and better handling. The KYB AGX has MANY different adjustments so you can control the stiffness of your ride from harsh to smooth. Some Koni's are also adjustable but to adjust them you have to take the shocks out whereas with the KYB AGX you can just turn the dials.
As for the springs there are lots of good springs that drop about 1.5. H&R sports are good. I'm using Neuspeed springs with KYB AGX shocks. You just need to decide the right spring rate and how much you want to drop your car when choosing springs.
These setups usually average from $500 for the everything. Also they are very good for auto crossing if you are into that and daily driving as well.
Now if you have more money and are willing to spend $750+ then go for the Teins...
Good luck and let us know what you pick.

Yep, I think I'm going to go that route, but I need to do more research on which springs will give me the 1-1.5 in drop, costs, and appropriate spring rates. Thanks for the help.
