Default ek lights

aight people i got a question for you and if anyone got pics plz post.......
i got a 97 silver hatch with type R lips all around (not the fakes but real one)
i had black houseing headlights on my car a couple months ago but my car was involved in an accident so one was completely distoryed so i put my stock lights on and with the money left over got the lips,,,,,,, anywho , i got another set of stock lights sitting around and was thinkin of painting them and putting them on my car because i did like how the black housing lights on my car looked with the silver color of the car ,,,,,,, but ive seen some people doing gunmetal housing lights to make it look more like the type r style lights,,,,,,,,,,, my question is i wanna knoww what everyone thinks about what color to paint the light ,,,,,, its between gunmetal and black ,,,,,, wat everyone think will look better on a silver car
thanks people

P>S>....... i left it at an open poll but plz dont post no funky colors like oranage and red and **** like that ,,,,,

Yup. I have just black ones and they match the car the best. However, I might redo mine dark gunmetal but that's if I ever feel like openeing them up again...But black would look best on your silver car.

your second post reads, and I quote "Like i said before my molding and type r lips on the car is painted the same color as the car ....." I can read fine champ but maybe you should reread what you wrote because you are definitely wrong, no where in there does it say go w/ black because it matches the moldings, you just said that your molding and type r lips were painted the same as your car, with that said I'd like to begin a movement on HT to end posting privileges to 2nd graders

sounds good except I would worry about repainting them so many times, you might start getting drips and things and it would be pretty much impossible, I would imagine, to sand old paint off of headlights
