Default Engine Transporation

I wasnt getting that many responses in GDD so i thot id try it here
my friend and I are going to pick up an ITR motor with his truck and i wasnt sure how we are gonna do everything. My friends got a new Nissan Frontier and i think we are gonna pick it up with that. The ppl we are getting it from are also gonna let us borrow a cherry picker so we will have something to hold it. The only thing im not sure about is, how are we gonna get it on the truck, will it fit, how do we hold it down, and how do we get it off the truck? Thanks

You can lift the longblock (no trans) into a truck with 3 guys pretty easily, especially if it`s a sissy nissan. Once it`s up there, just strap the fawker down and burn rubber.

Ryu12341 and I picked up his longblock and carried it through our living room out to the garage.

It was heavy, but liftable. He's about 5'7 140 and I'm 6' 200.....we had it fine.

This PLUS head and all, minus tranny

When I bought my extra engines last summer me and a skinny friend put both of the engines in the back of the rental truck by hand after pulling them. These were engine/tranny combos . We used nylon tie-downs to secure engines during transport.

I had a bigger truck ut I used a Cherry Picker to take it out of the Truck. I purchased an Entire Swap and it was in a BIG Wooden Crate. I tore the engine apart myself and carried it piece by piece into my basement
