Well since it is an explosive, I was wondering how to ship this thing. Is it okay to ship it normally? I mean there is no power going to the airbag, so does anyone know for sure?
Thanks in Advance

ups, usps, and fed ex all classify it as explosive/hazmat. It cant go air with any of them, but can go ground if the box is marked correctly. Its best to take it to a mailboxes etc. or to the ups counter directly to check..

I sold my stock bulky wheel, now all I need to do is ship it. For all you guys that swapped out and sold your stock wheel, how much more did they charge you to ship?
I shipped mine thru ups. Just put Honda parts down for the contents. Don't tell them its a air bag. Thats what I did, worked just fine.

yeha thats great but what happens if the thing goes off and blows a hole in the side of a plane......it wouldn't really do that its just a shotgun shell but it is an explosive there are certain rules you have to follow when shipping these kind of things......remember that valuejet plane that crashed in florida because some technicians put oxygen bottles on the plane and didnt tell anyone????? they blew up and the plane went down adn everyone died..........just ground ship it and tell them whats in the box there is nothing wrong with doing something right

I shipped it Fed Ex Ground. Apparently there is a 60 dollar hazardous materials charge. So if any of you guys are going to ship and srs wheels, make sure the buyer knows of the charge.

I think you are forgetting what he's shipping . It's just a airbag. The thing thats 2 feet from you face. I doubt it will tear a hole in a airplane.
I just said how I shipped mine.
