i really dont understand what is going on here? I thought we are supposed to be a bunch of car enthusiasts that got lucky and bought the ITR. I dont see how making OT topics makes us less of a community. Give me a brake, we cant talk about cars ALL the time. Most of the problems/topics have allready been discussed, i dont see how talkinga about other things makes things worse. IF you dont want to read OT messages, then dont! But please, dont make this into a **** regime where every OT topic gets deleted......

In all fairness...the issue he is raising, valid or not, pertains to the ITR forum. I'm sure not many of us spend as much time in the member's corner as we do here.

This has been beaten here to death before. I dont mind a little OT now and then, but there are other forums to post it in. I just want to be able to help others, and have others help me with out having to weed thru all the OT posts here LATELY.

Was it any of your threads that got moved.....no? Its mostly new people that just have to get used to the site, and where to post what to get the most knoledgable help.

Thats exactly my point. I've met and made many friends throught the ITR, and only the ITR forum, and if it was only the technical posts than then there would not be such great comradiery going on....I say long live the OT posts in the ITR forum! I know there are OT forums, but those include all the other riff raff and who wants to those ppl......

I like most of the OT stuff...I have met some cool people on the ITR forum, and I don't venture anywhere else...I have an ITR and I like talking w/ other people that have an ITR...

I have other friends w/ hondas and I don't hate them, but I want to relate w/ topics concerning owners of ITR's, and any other ideas they may have. I think it is way out of line to go bashing certain people or certain things, but it's also way out of line to lock/delete most of the threads that are...

Agreed HT is facist. I've come to accept. So I don't post anything that in none rice related. If I want to make a post about "I put mag lights instead of HID, and they kick ***!" I would be praised. But if I put a message to my fellow ITR owners about the RSX on TV, it gets moved to the RSX forum. If I put up a poll about weather we car about the RSX vs ITR controversy is gets deleted. It's not my board so I get over it.

Realize some people get off on deleting other people topics while they spank the monkey. The only consolutation is eventually they will go blind from that, then they can't read my posts.

I agree this needs to be closed and moved to a non-technical forum. If you want to discuss non-technical off topic stuff there are plenty of chat boards.

This board has always been of good technical quality which separated it from a lot of others...Let's keep the tradition.
