Anyone else own a 90-91 Civic EX?
OK. I've owned my '91 EX for over a year now and I must say I love this car. But one thing has kinda bugged me... it has power mirrors, power windows, power locks, upgraded interior (from the LX) cruise control and all the other options that you would want with the upper level models (D16A6, Si tranny, blah blah blah).
But one thing it doesn't have is rear speakers. The wires are there to run speakers, and the rear deck has provisions to cut out the holes for the speakers, but they weren't there from the factory.
What's that all about? It's not really that big a deal to me, but it's been bugging me for a while now.

just consider yourself lucky....at least the wires are already there and there's nothing to do but cut out the rear deck and drop em couple in...my car didn't even come with a radio, let alone speakers, power everything, a/c (what's that?), cruise control. Didn't even have a *ucking clock.

Maybe it was some weird options package...who knows. Eh, who cares?

mine came with rear speakers.......they were optional on all models i believe..... youll need the spacer thingy mounting plate to put rear speakers in.....because if you put any decent speaker in without it theyll sit flat and hit the bars for the trunk.....
