what is a good lip kit for a 91 teg and how much am i looking at here?

also do they need to be professionaly installed like a body kit or can i install it myself? pls dont flame, thanx!!

 

The OEM 90-91 lip kits are quite nice but very difficult to come across. You may want to check Wing's West site (www.wingswest.com I believe), I think they have a subtle lip kit for your car.

Oh, you should be able to install it yourself. Of course, you'll have to have it painted to match your car.

 

Never seen one the wings west kit is full bumper replacements.

the oem lip kits are real nice, but like everyone said, its hard to come by. i've tried searching. wingswest kit for the 90-91 tegs are clean and very nice bumper replacements.

 

the 90-91 rs wings west is nice lip.... much easier to come by then the oem kit.

u also might want to look into things before you talk about them, the WW is not just a lip kit nor a bumper replacement. it is an add on, meaning it bolts on to the stock bumper. it starts right below the molding.

 

No the front requires removal of the stock bumper. The sides are replacing the stock side skirt. The rear is a lip on the bottom half of the bumper I have one in stock. I have sold a few of these all the ones I have ever seen com as stated above.

 

Just leave it stock, or yeah get the Wing West. ;}

Dude it is not a lip kit. They only do the lip kit for the 92-93 teg.

 

i agree with 87itr86... he knows what he's talkin about if he's been sellin it for 4 years...

what about that CF lip someone posted on "post your 2nd gen teg pics" its like 8-10 page or somethin...

 

There possibly is a carbon lip but more and likely for the 92-93 front. Link the page you found it on.

funny who are you callin a moron. yes i misworded my statement. it isn't a bumper replacement, nor is it a lip. its an addon.

 

If you try really hard you might, might find a Vision lip.
