I'm going over to my friend's house to run a compression test on my motor to see how things are looking, but im wondering what the range im supposed to be looking for is. I've seen posts that h22's are getting 205-215 across all 4 cylinders, but i know mine are supposed to be lower cause of the compression ratio. any idea what numbers im searching for. its a stock block and head

 

Max psi: 178
Min psi: 135
Max variance: 25psi

isn't 160 supposed to be expected number? or is it different?

 

I ran a compression test on my car last week, and the results were 155 all the way across. Maybe that could be of some help.

 

thanx for the much needed info i'll post back with the results, the weather held us back on the test. i hate florida weather
