Default rubbing

I just got some 225/40/18 tires and now i'm rubbing. I was wondering if anybody has run into this and what they did to solve it.

ummmm, what kind of springs do you have? I have Skunk2 coilovers and the same sized tire. Just lowered them until they rubbed then I put them up a little more.

you got the wrong tire size and more than likely im assuming you have a 42+ offset???

and im also guessing you rub in the rear...in that case shave the rear tabs....
heres how to find them...

where the rear bumper meets the rear quarter panel.....there should be something sticking out on the inside of the fender....those are what you shave

I also rub in the front too when i take a sharp turn. What tire size should i run with 18's with 40 profile. I have stock suspension, will getting kyb agx shocks and putting them on the stiffest setting help? thanks

I have 225/40/18 Kuhmo's and mine used to rub.
I had to shave a small piece of the back bumper that was sticking into the wheel well on both sides. I just used a dremmel and now it barely rubs on large bumps. I still have stock suspension, but I have a speaker box in my trunk. Hope this helps.
