Default Does brand of replacement axle matter?

I need to replace my axles, is it worth paying the premium through the dealer or can I just get the ones on carparts.com? And at carparts.com should I get the cheapest one or is one brand better than another?

Hell, aren't all remanufactured axles orginally made by Honda?

No, autozone does not require a core but of course it would be cheaper with one. Just replaced mine 2 weeks ago. I think they rebuild OEM ones (from core).

$60 is with core. I paid about 70 for mine with core and tax.

Hmm...

I just called driveshafts.com... they quoted me 95 an axle with core, plus 10 for shipping per axle.

Raxle quoted 110 an axle and 28 for shipping the pair. Raxle claims to be one of the few ones to use new joints, and packs with amsoil grease and use better quality rubber boots.

I wonder if it's worth the extra money.... That's about 60 dollars more through driveshaft.com and 110 more from raxle... decisons, decisions...
