Header install... what do you use to clean?

I just installed my JDM Apex GT header on my Type R. Of course there is oil from our hands on the pipes from the install, so I know I need to clean it off. What is the best cleaner to use on the header that will not discolor it once I turn the car on. I need to clean it ASAP so I don't have burned in hand prints all over it. lol
Thanks,
Brad

I used a metal polish called Flitz even after the car was started...got most of the discoloration off of my header...it can be purchased at most marine shops

denatured alcohol, leaves no residue. It is normally used as a prep solvent for auto painting. wear gloves, it sucks the oil out of your skin also.
I use Mothers metal polish, it works wonders for the header and exhaust... but unfortunately wont get any of the blue marks out on the header.

The rubbing alcohol was fine, you just couldn't keep your hands off the thing
