Default Valve Covers....

Well I am not the smartiest guy but i was just wondering if all valve cover scompatible (I.E. Ls to type R valve cover) just wondering???

if the engine is on the same block (IE D, B, H) then valve covers are interchangeable. sohc and dohc engines have different valve covers

That's not really correct, valve covers are interchanagble between heads, not blocks....for instance, non-vtec and vtec valve covers are not interchangable.

true for integra's but not all civics

All D Series SOHC VTEC Valvcovers must go on D Series SOHC VTEC head (ie: D16Z6 is compatible with D16y8)

SOHC non-vtec D series valvcovers will work on Sohc D Sereis non-vtec head (ie: D16A6 is compatible with D15)

DOHC VTEC B series vavlecovers will work on all DOHC VTEC B series head (ie: B16 is compatible with B18C)

DOHC non-VTEC b series valvecovers will work on all DOHC non-VTEC B series head (ie: B18A will work on B18B)

Just curious, where does a "B18A" come from?
