gasket problems?
i have a greddy kit on a 2000 lude and had an exhaust leak from the exhaust gasket (from the headers to the engine block) now my car sounds like those bumper cars in Disneyland, very put putty. Any suggestions i bought a new gasket for 15 bucks, but i can't figure out how to change it help?
just unbolt it pull out the old one. Cleaning it up a bit isn't a bad idea then put the new one on just as the old one was on and bolt it back on. It's easy. Just be carefull when loosening the bolts because you really don't want to snap any of them.
hey man thanks for the reply but i can't separate the headers from the gasket what tool can i use? do i have to take out anything else? Theres no room to work with these f#$!ing headers, sorry i am just getting frustrated, i took the heat sinks out and i can't even separate the piping btw what should i use to clean that crap off? engine degreser?
