Default OBDII to OBDI beneficial?

I have a 98 JDM H22a in a 96 accord. Right now im running the stock JDM ecu, which i dont remember what it is. I was thinking of going to OBDI with some other ecu. What are the different ECU's and how beneficial is this? Is all I need is the ECU and harness?

Setup: AEM CAI, an-r header, exhaust, action 2md clutch, fidanza flywheel, NX direct port 80hp, UR pullies, walbro 255lph pump, b&m guage and fpr, msd digital 6+ and coil, and vafc. Thats abotu it, what can I expect from going to obdI?

Is this purely plug and play, or do I have to change the wiring? What about the knock sensors, or the crank sensors that are in my distributor?

you will need the conversion harness. as for benniffecial there is a lot of debate over it. some say that OBD II learns. but there is a cheat for that and you can reset that. (www.ntpog.org) but it is all up to the user.

If you have OBD II it will be much easier to get this (
( http://solar.innercite.com/comptech/340050.html ) device from CompTech. You can replace your cat with a test pipe, and use the device to trick the computer into think your care running the second O2 sensor.

Ive been doing a lot of searching online and have been reading that some people need new injectors, distributors...etc.....is any of that needed for me? Im not getting that. My crank sensors are in my distributor.

Also, is the p28 for me? Would it be better to have the p72 even though its more expensive? Im not sure on the difference between the different ecus in terms of the knock sensor and butterflies...iab...all that stuff. Thanks
