Default CF hood question

I really want a CF hood for my rex- but here in OHIO there is is construction year round with gravel always hitting my ride on the freeway- anyone have any problems with CF hoods being damaged by rocks etc.? Any recommendations?

Default Re: CF hood question (fixhondas)

I doubt the hood will be damaged by small rocks. The only thing is those rocks will probably tear up the clearcoat on the hood and for bigger rocks they may put tiny chips in the hood but it all depends on what quality hood you get, carbon fiber is made to be pretty strong, but a lot of companies make cheap ones.
