why dont you stick with OEM CTR parts? i wouldnt make it better in any way. Stick with the B16B

 

Ladies Man: Did the car come with legal papers? and are you planning to register it or just use it for track?

Sounds like a part car to me if it came w/no engine.

 

So you just bought a chassis?If so how much?I have though about a hybrid and a CTR chassis would be kinda cool.

 

Although having a 1.8 in a CTR body defeats one main advantage of having a hybrid - stealth.

 

i would love a 2.0L CTR. that in my opinion is the best combo right now. better than the beast i have built myself.

if you are gonna rock that CTR then do it right, go B16B or go Spoon stroked B16 if you want to be the ultimate... but yes stay with a B16, please.....

 

Oh,that's right we have to keep a b16b in it so it will be JDM I would rather have something that has power and cost less like a 1.8.I am not sure about everyone else here but"stealth"isn't what attracts me to a hybrid.It is the fact that you can build one pretty cheap.I sometimes feel guilty beating on a car that costs as much as a new Type R.

 

i agree 100%.. first thing i would consider is a 98 spec itr jdm motor.. if you can find one.. i think they should be more and more available now.. if not 96-97 then..
buy yeah if you have mony to stroke it or something while you at it.. do it!
and build the car the way you like it.. who cars if its not JDM.. as long as it looks nice and clean on the car and you like it thats the way to go.
