CTR Pistons and Intake Cam In B18C1. Is it reliable and streetable?
Ok If I was to put CTR pistons and the intake cam on a b18c1 block my compression would be like 12-1. I know if i did this I would have to run on 93 octane. But is it a reliable daily driver setup? Would I have to purchase Ignition upgrades for it? Any help to this topic would be help to me.

what else is in your tuneup?
if you got cam gears and tuning...you should be fine i would think...
some people have run that much compression on 91 octane here in cali..
tuning is key

i have the same setup ....just breaking it in right now..i think your suppose to retard the timing not advance it...mine is still running sort of lean
