Default conciquences of putting engine in and not wireing up vtec for now?

using a DX harness, on an EG, would there be any conciquences of running without the vtec wired up for a fiew days? i dont see why there should be but i want to see what anyone else has to say.

I have done it in the pass .. before the simple days of motor swaps .. i didnt have any problems ,,but I didnt dog the motor either .. good luck...

it should be fine, but if u fell tempted to rev past 5k there will be **** for power
