4 wire O2 sensor on D16Y8 wired to a P28?

4 wire O2 sensor on D16Y8 wired to a P28?
My D16y8 is hooked up OBD1 to a P28 so I only need one O2, but i didn't know if i could use a 4 wire O2 with that ECU. Will this cause a problem? I heard the 4 wire ones are better.
