There is a product called "Bulldog", it can be bought at most automotive suppliers (Auto-zone, Advance), many paint shops use it when painting side moldings, lips, or any other kind of rubber/platic body component. I had my side-moldings and and factory side skirts painted and that was what they used to make the paint stick.
Hope that helps.

theres a flex additive thats in the paint
just like in bumpers when you paint them
any type of plastic thats painted
you need to use so when you hit somthing, the paint doesnt crack and chip and spider-web... thats where you tend to see flaking

YES, there is a "flex" additive that is added.
if you click on the "TECH" section at http://www.WingsWest.com they show you the correct way to paint it.
FYI I buy Comptech Lips through WingsWest for customers because it's cheaper...the info they provide is applicable to the Comptech.
