what type of pins do u guys use. when i got my hood it had pep boys pins in there but no rings on the actual hood. i was gonna buy new 1's and wondered if the pep boys ones worked well or if there were any u guys would suggest. thanks

 

I bought Mr. Gasket locking hood pins. It uses a little computer like key to open it. I got these because I cut out my hood latch because my hood didnt want to shut right with the latch......Heres the site..... http://store.summitracing.com/...locks

My generic "ricer brand" pins held up better than my friend's Sparcos, at least in terms of appearance (both obviously performed their intended function just fine). The Sparcos quickly began to show signs of rust, but mine never did.
