are they the same hood or is the Civic hood longer?

 

they should be the same. i put a crx hood onto my 90 si hatch. the only little quirk i had is when i try to open my hood. it doesn't just pop up like it used to, of course, that could be due to a little fender bender that i had

yep....i was parked and i guess someone backed into me...after that the hood never pooped up, i always had to pull it up while someone pulled the latch. haha It was hard doing it by myself because i had to pull the latch and reach over and hit the hood to get it open!....well now my car has a JDM front end..so, nothing to worry about anymore

 

They do fit...my buddy did the exact same thing. His hood on his CRX got a major dent in it from someone sitting on it. He went to junk yard and picked up a Civic hood, painted it and everything was cool.

i noticed you were from toronto, my parents live there and i was just down there for the summer where are all the races?i went to a couple of car shows and a mosport superbike race but didnt see any races?

haha..yea man, same thing. its so ghetto. i have to pull the hood up a little bit, then pull on the latch, and come back and force my hood open...scary, but it works

 

Absolutly I have a Civic hood on my CRX. It fit perfectly my lights are civic too if you ever need to replace those they work too.
