Default car trouble's

hey guys well i was finished with work 2 days ago and i went to my car...and i turn on my car..and the tach, engine temp and fuel gague were on 0. i thought at first they was just a loose connection. so i went home but during the ride home i noticed my directionals didnt work...my 4 ways worked not my turn signal. i talked with mackymg and he said that it was probally the turn signal switch (switch that is on the steering colum on the left) that shorted out the rest of the the cluster. . . anyone else have any suggestions, comments. thank you very much~!

First would be to check all your fuses...I know there is one fuse that controls your gauge cluster. I'd check those first.
