I decided to dish my AEM short ram and buy a Comptech "ice box" aka **** box. I already had a drop in filter since it was my very firts mod before I bought the AEM. Powerwise, it's awesome!! it feels like 4-5 whp throught the whole rpm range. The car is much more responsive and fun to dirve at lower rpm's. after I get my cams, i'll have the ca dynoed and I'll khow exactly how much HP.torque it gave me since I already have a dyno with the AEM I can simply caompare.
As far as the quality, it's the worst I've seen from Comptech! I am very dissapointed! I have their h'e and both are very high qaulity, but the **** box is cheap looking! 'it's made of very thing plastic. I don't think i'll last more than 2 years until it starts cracking! I wish they would have made it stronger like the stock air box
