Default Bad Clutch?

Some times when i push in my clutch pedel i hear a squeaking noise. It doesn't always happen though. Could i need a new clutch?

try greasing the clutch petal. if this is for an older car.... if you have a clutch cable that would probably be the problem. thats the case with my dads 92 scooby and 89 civic hatch. squeek all day long

It's pretty normal there was a thread on this a day or two ago...

it's either the pedal assembly (spray it with wd40 or the like) or the clutch master cylinder... in which case you may need a new one... but more than likely it just needs a decent lubing... (I don't really recomend you take off your clutch master unless you feel comfortable doing so).

if the sound is coming from the cabin, then the clutch pedal just needs to be lubed.

Not if it's like mine... the master itself is squeeking... the pedal ***. just transfers the noise into the cabin...

And primo... did you mean clutch master?

maybe so maybe not...

it's internal squeeking from the master so if it is that then it may be more audible in the car because the pedal assembly tranfers the noise well...

I'd try to lube the pedal assembly then worry about the master if it's still squeeking.
