Default Make shift intake ?! Please read

Hey If you read my post yesterday you know some degenrate tried to steal my car .. well they didnt get it ... but they did get my intake and I dont have one to put on there to get it home from the shop (I had to have a new ignition put in)


Right now I have a bare TB .. what can I use to get my car home ?any ideas I dont wana have to buy one of those crapy autozone ones ...

bout 5 / 10 miles .. I dont wana put a cloth there it could get sucked into the intake .. and then it just gets messy from there ...

shop rag and a hose clamp...

it'll be fine... you might want to double up on the rags though.

if you have any type of means of securing a cloth (duct tape, pipe clamp) it maybe could work.

yeah sounds good .. the jackass that stole it just yanked it off .. the rubber seal and the hose clamp are still attached to the TB.

Will a T-shirt work or is that too porrus ?

you can run it w/o anything and probobly won't have any problems... so to answer your question a tee shirt is fine... just be sure it's secured around the rim of the tb so it doesn't get sucked in enough to block the tb plate from closing... cuz that would suck.
