Anyone ever seen one of these?
Found this pic on a British website...

I want one! I would love to try one of these on the track, it must be incredible... Power to weight ratio... drool...

Oh, it's real. Mini Magazine's March issue had a full drive/photo shoot/impressions.
There were no times, but they estimated a traction-limited mid-5 sec 0-100km/h time.
It's the Euro-spec B18C5 with boltons, around 240 hp.

I almost bought one instead of my WRX. They sell turn-key for around 22k.
I just felt it wasn't safe/practical enough to use as a daily driver.

Just do a google search under "mini cooper vtec swap" or something like that and you'll find plenty how-to pages. Some places even sell pre-made kits to mount a B18 into a mini.
An autocrosser from South Georgia named Harold Knobel build one of these about 4 years ago. He took his old (and I mean "old" in terms of he was autocrossing this car before most of us were born) Cooper S and dropped in a built GSR powerplant. Power was about 200 and weight was about 1100lbs.
He towed the thing behind his daily driver Accord on a single axel landscape utility trailer.
He had also converted the car to a center seating position. Harold is about 6'7, so he looked pretty funny sitting in the middle of the back of the car.
The thing would flat out fly. His only problem was a continual struggle with wheelspin.
I've looked, but have never found a picture of this car online. It was gorgeous and quite creative (cooling was performed by two small motorcyle radiators in each headlight opening... the header stuck through the grille
).

funny how everyone is so quick to say things are photochopped around here. Yes, they are real. There's a company that builds them. They have an ad in the back of GRM pretty much every issue. It's http://www.gomini.com

Not unless you can convince the world that it's really a honda

There are same ads in the back of GRM for shops selling VTEC powered Minis.
B18 Spec R or K20 Spec R Eliese gets my vote though. (If I had the green that is.) Can't beat the Mini for the ultimate sleeper though.
