Default okay Is this a good start till im really ready

Okay I plan to get a turbo for my h22 but here are some factors. 1 I have enough money to purchase the t3/t4 turbo kit ,I already have my fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator in and everything. Now I understand that the prelude motors cant handle that more than 8 psi . I mean they can but you have to build up after the 8psi.

What I want to do is boos on 8psi till im ready for the full rebuild . Heres my set-up t3/t4, 555cc injectors, tial 35 wastegate a hondata or a s-fac for the turbo and a boost guage and some very good tuning with a wideband o2 anything else I may wanna do before I build it up?

As for my compression when I do the build-up its gonna be je 9-8-1 compression pistons, eagle rods, and darton sleeves for when I go higher than 8psi. THat should be all there is too it right?right?

prelude motors are prone for cracked ringlands and i hear the walls crack easilly as well....I have heard this through the grapevine......but maybe you should just buy all the parts, then rebuild and then boost......patience and research will save you alot of headaches....

i heard that the 94-95 h22a motors had a closed deck setup from teh factory but the newer h22a 96 and up had open deck setup from factory and thats why they crack their sleeves. thats just what i heard but im probably wrong
