Default safe to run oil feed line capped off before i out turbo on??

wel i plan on doing my turbo next month and i have my motor already out of the car . it is a lot easier to get to the oil sending unit while its out of the car and i have my oil feed line and tee fittings ready. i was wondering if it is safe to go ahead and run my oil feed line and then drop my motor ins and just cap off hte end of the oil feed line while its not hooked up to the turbo.. i got the cap that fits perfect on teh oil feed 3 an fitting and i used teflone tap when i put the cap on so its nice and tite and secure, i was wondering if this is safe or should i not do it? i am just trying to save myself some time and headaches for the future so i dont have to run it while its already in the car.. any thoughts??

No problem, as long as the plug/cap is not leaking under pressure.

yes I did the same, just capped off the feed line fitting with a -3 cap from earl's, worked like a charm
