Default lca bushing

Is there any way to get the LCA to shock busing out (on a civic)without a press?? i don't have a "real" torch to burn it out either,, and a propane torch doesn't get hot enough,, can anyone help me out?

I can help you get it out, but getting a new one in is a different story.... Start by using a drill to drill a hole in the rubber part (yes this is a ghetto, backyard racer tactic, but it works) once you have a hole, use a small knife as much of the rubber out as you can. Once that is done, use a hack saw to cut the outer ring of the bushing until you get to the metal of the LCA.... then use a chisel/scredriver and a hammer to knock the ring out.... It worked for me when I installed a prothane bushing into my motor mount!
