What's this on Si intake manifold?

Default What's this on Si intake manifold?

Anyone know what this part (circled) is and what it does??I just did the MPFI swap and this doesn't match any of my connectors,so I left it unplugged.Thanks!

i think its the fast idle valve, used in cold starts...Could be wrong. But anyway, I left mine unplugged as well. every write up ive seen for mpfi swap says leave it unplugged i have no problems

Yes, you are correct it's a fast idle control.. I left mine unplugged too when i did my Y8 intake manifold swapped, since it doesn't have one for the y8.. No problem here so far..

Same here except with my Z6 IM.

*EDIT* One thing though is since there is a vacuum nipple for it on the A6 IM I would plug the vacuum nipple with something as well.
