i started boosting about a month ago, ever since i've been leaking oil. we pulled the turbo apart, but it was dry so i am assuming that the seals have not been blown. i see oil all over the cross member though. does anyone know where this may be coming from?

 

did you check the oil lines that go to the turbo?

 

return fitting leaking?

 

oil pan gasket? Do you see oil on the engine anywhere??

 

oil isn't comin from any of the lines. also...it's not comin from the oil pan at all. the only thing that i know for sure is that it is comin from the front of my motor.

 

anyone?

 

you could always buy some of that leak detector stuff that you add to your oil then it glows under a black light.

 

hmm....that's interesting. i never knew that they had such a thing. let me look into it.
